Perfection is present in this piece of art.

It is perfect, and I'll explain why. Everything is in its right place. The pose, the face expression, the attire, everything describes her personality perfectly. The design chosen for her clothes is smart. It's visually very appealing because of the genius use of colors. Let me see if I'm right: you colored her jacket and skirt black so her chest wold stand out with its white shirt. But you also used a little of red and yellow, two flashy colors, in the thing in her arm so people aren't completely distracted from the big picture.
One can easily differentiate the textures due to the excellent coloring. The dragon scale like sleeves make her look like a pro.
I also noticed the detail on the skirt. Just throwing black would probably be too normal, wouldn't it? So you drew a line of dark orange, and it goes really well with the whole thing because its color is similar to her hair's. And speaking of hair, it's just the thing for Ceoil (still haven't figured out how to pronounce that name). It's not really long, so I guess that kind of reveals a strong personality, but it's not short either, which leads me to this: "...Very affectionate and is a little sensitive if her affection does not get returned..." - It matches perfectly.

To tell you the truth, I never really liked Ceoil, but this drawing right here changed my opinion entirely. Now I like her almost as much as I like Sachi, which is a lot. There are only good things to be said about this piece, and only good things were said. I think my review has fulfilled its destiny. I'm keeping an eye out for Ceoil now, she's really, um, how should I say it? She's stunning!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review as always, Ocelot! I always really look forward to reading your comments.
Really, thank you so much! :D

Not my favorite, but it's still nice.

I'll be straightforward: the legs don't look that good. This perspective involves reducing their sizes, but I'm pretty sure they're not supposed to be reduced that much.
Apart from that I will say the usual: top notch coloring. The colors really manage to indicate the texture of everything. The sky and light source also draw my attention in a good way. They're so pretty. Sachi has the most gorgeous eyes I've seen in a while. They're like big, but not that big, like, the right size, and they're incredibly detailed, but not extremely detailed. Those eyes are quite balanced.
Good job in drawing a good facial expression. She looks as if she just found out she's in trouble, a combination of surprise and fear. No wonder, she's flying.
Um... Action... Yeah, I remember. Your drawings are mostly kawaii girls either facing front or sideways. Good to see you started trying out the hard stuff: crazy poses and movement.

P.S.: If that hat falls off her head and I grab it, I shall claim it as my own, because it's awesome! >:3

suwako responds:

Yeah, I'll admit the legs don't look good, I had a lot of trouble with them unfortunetly. I'm trying to get better at perspective though, so hopefully with more practice I'll be able to nail it sometime.
Thank you Ocelot! I put a bit more effort into the colouring than usual I think. I'm glad to hear it was noticed : >
Aha, yeah. My poses were very static, but since you suggested doing dynamic poses, that's what I've been trying to do lately, and I think it's much more interesting/challenging, so thank you so much for the suggestion, your critiques always help me so much!

Aha, go for it! XD

I wish I could doodle this good

I will just have to practice, then. Both of the characters are drawn with both great detail and correction. The color balance is something to admire as well. You managed to figure out colors that make the characters stand out, and I noticed how you used a certain color on the background to one side and swapped it with the one that is in the other when creating a thick and pretty outline, an aura, so to speak.
But, on the other hand, you comitted some mistakes also, as you stated, and you know about them, so it's not worth referring them.
Overally speaking, you have a very nice piece of art here... Hold on, that "to" in katakana looks a bit off. You should reduce the size of the diagonal stroke. It's too big, almost looking like the kanji for "getting in", or something like that. You know, that one where you write it to get "Hairimasu"? Sorry, I just had to find something stupid :p

- Diogo Monteiro (yes, my real name)

suwako responds:

Ocelot, I haven't heard from you on newgrounds in ages! Glad to hear from you!
Yeah, I made a lot of mistakes. I guess I still need a lot more practice with anatomy.
But thank you!
Oh, please ignore my writing, it's AWFUL. I have been only concentrating on typing JP, my actual writing it is so messy orz;;;;; But thanks for the tip! I'll be sure to remember it.

Diogo? That's such a cool name! It reminds me of Diego or something c:

Can't guess who's style it is...

But then again, I'm kind of an Internet idiot, so only people I know are you, Egoraptor, and Nama-sensei.
You did this with pencils, didn't you? Hmm...Maybe not.
Moving on, not bad. You're getting the hang of proportions, even though I know you'll change your style right after you get good. Now, you did everything all right, but this one doesn't quite impress me. You get the picture.
Another thing: why didn't you draw this big, may I ask?

- Kagekiyo-gensei

suwako responds:

XD
nope, it was digital x3 as you probably guessed XD
thanks!
i did, but it won't animate if its big on NG for some reason :/ here's the big version if you want to see it: http://jadelaunders.deviantart.com/art/Sachi-Eika-156241298

Hooray

She's got a hanged by a meat cleaver person's blood all over her body. I noticed how you blured out the dead guy's legs. That's fantastic. And guess what? She's wearing half a school uniform. Why would anyone go to a meat warehouse on her underwear? Newground's answer: Who cares?
Okay, to sum it up, I like this. Keep it up.

suwako responds:

thanks a lot, ocelot-sensei! i'm glad you like it! :3

Doodle stands for doodle. Yeah, I know. Well, it's not that bad. Just not good enough to be on Newgrounds. Please forgive my jerky attitude, I have 5 evaluation tests next week, so I'm in a not so pleasant mood.

suwako responds:

nawh, it's fine, i agree with you! and sorry to hear about those tests man! good luck!

I like her stance

Looks like she's about to strangle someone. I find the environment pretty interesting, with the giant pink grass and that floating mist.
Only one question though. Is that thing she's holding a gun? Because, if so, that's we-weird one, I'll tell you that. I'm not sure it is a pistol or not, but in case you think of drawing one, try picking a reference and draw it from that. You probably know this, but I'm gonna tell you anyhow. In manga, the human anatomy is twitched a little. However this does not happen with objects and other non-human elements, like cats and waterfalls for instance. Anime creators try to be as realistic as possible while creating the scenery, but still maintaining its cartoony look.
Ok, overall I like everything except the thing in her hands. End of story.

- Ocelot-sensei

suwako responds:

thanks! x3

and yes, i totally get what you mean about the gun - it looks awful, i should have used a ref DX

thanks for the helpful review as always, ocelot-sensei! XD

Maybe you shouldn't sell this one...

Your coloring is all well and good, but the thing that bugs me here is the eyes. I think a guy below me has mentioned that, but still. Manga/Anime characters are known for their big eyes, however, excessively big eyes will make them look like aliens, no offense though. They just don't "fit" in the face, know what I'm saying?
Overall, drawing and coloring are both good, but the eyes blow it. I feel like you don't exactly dominate body proportions, so work on that.

- Ocelot-sensei

P.S.: OMG, I'm gonna be spammed with "useless review"

suwako responds:

yeah, they are a tad big, but that's actually what i was kind of going for (although maybe i overdid it a bit XD) i dunno, i just wanted to try some more shojo looking style ^^
and yus, proportions are being worked on XD i hope that with enough practice i can improve on it soon D:

thanks as always, ocelot-sensei! you're always a big help to me! <33333

lolololololol XDDDDDDD don't worry what other people think, i think your review is awesome, as always!

Ah. Didn't look like a friendly village anyway.

Lighting is good, colors too. But you could have done something better with the flames on the right. Well then, f*ck that place AND my review.

- Ocelot-sensei.

Rhunyc responds:

lol. Thanks man. And there is no review I could ever say "Fuck" too... Or about.. Or whatever I'm trying to say. xD Even the shitty ones you gotta appreciate. :D

But, yours is quite nice! SO thank you! :)

An alternative background huh?

I'm still going to review it anyway. I apologize being on a review cafeine thrusting streak, too much Coca Cola, I'm afraid.
Okay, so: You made some new shiny outlines around the character and changed to a more "modern" environment. Nicely done choice - variety of colors and designs. Here's your 8.

- Ocelot-sensei.

suwako responds:

haha thanks ocelot-sensei XD
oh, no probs :3
and thanks! c:
