I was going to mention that the background could have more to it, but there's no need to. I specially like the shinyness that you put in some parts of the armor thing.

Listen, if it were up to me, I'd start paying you to draw manga. I'm serious. I mean, how can I describe this? You only need to get a few details fixed, other than that you're good to go. So, it's either that or I'm being too naive. Probably the second.

Besides the stuff the guy below me said, I found a small detail that should be corrected. Below the belt there is a part from the kimono missing. Like a type of skirt, even though it's just the prolongation (does this word even exist? I'm not taking my chances), I mean the thing that acts sort of like the lower part of the jacket, I can't describe it right now. I'm also a bit picky about faces, but either way, you did a fantastic drawing, with the shadows and the lightning effects and stuff. 4/5.

Just one thing, though. I notice most of the times that they keep the "black surrounding" in the hair. I don't know if I can explain myself, I don't know any of those technical arty terms. What I'm trying to say is if it were up to me I'd leave it in the 8th step.
And also thanks for explaining how to obtain the shiny effect. I don't get along with shiny. I wish I did, because I like it. Yeah! Shiny stuff! Now we're talking.

oh, well that just down to personal preference, really x3 A lot of people don't recolour their lineart, i get what you mean :3 i just prefer it when it's recoloured and i like having no lineart. c: you can do it anyway you like, though, no one has to follow this to a T! :D

shiny can be troublesome, especially when people use too much of it! XD
but, when used in a nice amount, it looks awesome! :D
